Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25 70, 1970) is an American former tight end in the NFL. Gonzalez played for the National Football League from 1997 to 2003. As one of football's greatest tight ends Anthony David Gonzalez is also the NFL leader of receiving yards from tight ends and third overall in receptions.
Former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports Studio analyst. Gonzalez is associated with FOX NFL KICKOFF since the last year, hosts the host for the show. It airs every Sunday at 11:15 am ET before FOX NFL SUNDAY.
Gonzalez's claims of retiring from the NFL after 2013 was not true. On the 15th of March 2013, Gonzalez was signed by the Falcons an agreement for two years worth $14,000,000. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the NFL's leader of active receiving yards for his final season.
