Alexandra Margo Sholler, known professionally as Alison Wonderland, is an Australian electronic dance music DJ, producer as well as a vocalist. Allison Cara Tolman (born April 2 in 1985) is an American actor. Her most well-known role is her character Molly Solverson in the first season of the FX television series Fargo,earning Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Tolman grew up with three older siblings and one younger. The family moved from England to Sugar Land in Texas at the age of an infant. Then she spent the next five years in Oklahoma before heading into Sugar Land. In the Fort Bend Community Theatre, she began taking acting lessons in the age of 10. Clements High School graduated her in the year 2000. Baylor University granted her a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis on the performance of the stage. After graduation, she lived in Dallas and was a founder of Second Thought Theatre. The year 2009 saw her relocated into Chicago, Illinois, to take classes in performance with The Second City Training Center. Tolman became famous during 2014 when Tolman appeared on the FX show Fargo. Fargo was the 1996 Coen Brothers film, starred Billy Bob Thornton (as Molly Solverson), Martin Freeman (as Bob Odenkirk) and Bob Odenkirk. Tolman was praised for her role as Minnesota the Police officer Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair said that Tolman "calmly took over" the show. In recognition of her performance, she won the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Ministry/Movie and also received Best Actress nominations at the Emmy Awards and for the Golden Globes. In the in the same season, the news revealed that Tolman was set to play a 2-episode guest appearance on The Mindy Project playing Abby Berman, a romance writer. In 2015, Tolman had a supporting character in Michael Dougherty's comedy horror film Krampus. In the wake of her breakout performance in Fargo, Tolman declined several part-time roles, including mothers or wives as well as best friends, looking for some more unique roles. Tolman's role on ABC Downward Dog was based on her role in the Animal Media Group Web Series. After one season, the show was cancelled. Tolman was the main character on ABC's drama series Emergence which premiered on September 24, 2019. It was pulled on May 21st, 2020 following only one season despite "pretty strong" viewership, according to Tolman. Guest appearances she made in the NBC show NBC Good Girls were also listed as a source.
